Flowing into 2025: Change and New Dreams

Sunset over Emerald Cay, Bahamas, from a drone point of view,

As the sun sets on 2024, we find ourselves reflecting on a year that passed by like a quick breeze, leaving behind waves of memories. Crystal-clear waters, bustling cities, days of calm at sea, and vibrant life on land have all blended into the fabric of our journey. Yet, beyond the scenery, 2024 was a year of self-discovery - as individuals, as a family, and as dreamers constantly evolving.

We learned that while we love the freedom of the sea, we thrive within a community -a tribe that offers both support and space. We discovered that spending hours together in a car can be filled with laughter and stories and that being cold on a boat feels far harsher than being cold at home.

Life aboard the Grand Cru continues to surprise us, reminding us that no matter how familiar our surroundings become, there is always more to learn, more to experience.

Now, 2025 is here, carrying that tingly excitement of new beginnings. The question lingers in our minds: Where will we be at the end of this year? It's both thrilling and a little frightening.

Sergey and I have always needed direction, a goal to guide us. But we've learned that rigid plans aren't for us. We need flow, movement toward a dream, a goal. It's how we turned years of talking about boat life into the beautiful reality we live today.

And now, another dream is unfolding.

This year, our hearts are steering toward a new kind of adventure - finding a land house. A place to pause, breathe, and experience a sense of stability we've started craving. We dream of familiar friends nearby, fewer daily repairs, less worry about water and electricity, and yes - long showers without watching the clock.

A home where peace - both physical and mental - can settle in.

We don't know exactly where or when this dream will take root. But we trust that it will. The path always reveals itself as you move forward, in flow.

2025 will be a year of transitions, new directions, and bold dreams. But it's not a farewell to our life at sea - it's an evolution.

This change feels exciting, not sad.

And as always, I'll share this journey with you as openly as I can.

For now, we are still here - on the boat, in the Bahamas - surrounded by endless horizons, waves, and friends who feel like family. Every day reminds us of a simple truth: every dream has its path. The most important step is to begin.

Here's to a year of new dreams and the courage to follow them!
